No race today. They postponed the 12.5k individual until tomorrow just before we hopped on the bus to the venue. The rain was coming down too hard and the course was not skiable. We have snow in the forecast for tomorrow so it is hopeful that the race will happen. The photo below shows the amazing volunteers in the background digging trenches in the course for the water to flow through.

I went exploring instead! I had fun taking pictures of every statue I found.

I saw a couple different types of birds too!

The Biathlon World Championships are happening just three hours away in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic and today was their first race. In Europe, the well revered sport of biathlon is usually playing on the tv.

I’m feeling good after another day of rest! I’m praying for some snow tomorrow!
